(OPDC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-style-rounded is-style-rounded--1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/uat-www.opdc.go.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/12dcf69fb153a035a60d3dd5d696dab6-1200x642.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uat-www.opdc.go.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/12dcf69fb153a035a60d3dd5d696dab6-1200x642.jpeg 1200w, https:\/\/uat-www.opdc.go.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/12dcf69fb153a035a60d3dd5d696dab6-768x411.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/uat-www.opdc.go.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/12dcf69fb153a035a60d3dd5d696dab6-480x257.jpeg 480w, https:\/\/uat-www.opdc.go.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/12dcf69fb153a035a60d3dd5d696dab6.jpeg 1312w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bureaucracy Reform in B.E.\u00a02545 has resulted in significant changes\u00a0in\u00a0administration process and major restructuring of government sectors, which are ministries, ministerial bureaus and departments.\u00a0It is the result of the National Government Organization Act\u00a0(5th Revision)\u00a0B.E.\u00a02545 and the Act on Reorganization of ministries, ministerial bureaus, departments in B.E.\u00a02545 that came into force on the 3rd October 2545 B.E..\u00a0The panel code Section 3\/1 of the National Government Organization Act\u00a0(5th Revision)\u00a02545 B.E.\u00a0specifies that the public administration is required to effectively manage in any way for the wellbeing of the people and accomplish the public sector missions.\u00a0It also requires to appoint the Public Sector Development Commission\u00a0(PDC)\u00a0to be a mechanism to steer to achieve the foregoing effective result where the Office of the Public Sector Development\u00a0(OPDC)\u00a0is the main body for public administration development.\u00a0The OPDC is responsible for supporting the Public Sector Development Commission through giving recommendations and suggestions to the minister cabinet who is responsible for the bureaucracy development and other public sector duties, which include structure of bureaucracy, budgeting system, personnel system, moral virtue and ethics standard, compensation and other public sector practices, to be carried out in accordance with the aspiration of the National Government Organization Act\u00a0(5th Revision)\u00a0B.E.\u00a02545 and the royal decree 2546 B.E.\u00a0on the principle and practice of\u00a0good governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be said that the OPDC was founded on the 3rd October 2545 B.\u00a0E.\u00a0On that occasion, OPDC was appointed as a non-departmental government body under the Office of the Prime Minister, reporting directly to the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later on the National Government Organization Act\u00a0(7th Revision)\u00a02550 B.E., which was enforced on the 15th September 2550 B.E., specified that the OPDC is a departmental government body under the Office of the Prime Minister.\u00a0It is responsible for OPDC\u2019s general affairs and other duties designated by the law or OPDC\u2019s regulation.\u00a0The OPDC Secretary General is the position of civil servant, who is the chief of the government officials and staff of OPDC, who undertakes the state duties under the supervision of the Prime Minister.\u00a0Thus, the OPDC supposes that the15th September of each year is the date of establishment of the office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The history of the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission.
